Support Now x Tia Stokes Interview

The project

Golden Medina Services produced, directed, and filmed an episode of the In Conversation Series presented by Support Now, featuring cancer survivor and mother of five, Tia Stokes, alongside her close friend and caregiver, Kelsey.

To capture the full depth of emotion and authenticity in their story, our team filmed on-location at Tia’s home with a three-camera setup, allowing for dynamic multi-angle coverage that highlighted the raw vulnerability and heartfelt connection between Tia and Kelsey.

The conversation delved into Tia’s courageous battle with leukemia, the challenges of navigating treatment during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the critical role of community support during life’s toughest moments. Kelsey’s perspective as both friend and caretaker added a rare, layered insight into the ripple effects of illness on families and support systems.

The interview not only illuminated the resilience of the human spirit but also aligned seamlessly with Support Now’s mission: empowering people to provide meaningful relief, whether through money, meals, or other acts of service—when it matters most.
